   Confetti Salad
Ingredients
  • 6 cups torn salad greens
  • 1 can (2-1/4 ounces) (1 унция = 28 гр) sliced ripe olives, drained
  • 1 small red onion, halved and sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet yellow pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 to 2 cups Italian salad dressing or dressing of your choice
Directions
In a bowl, toss the greens, olives, onion, peppers, cabbage and cheese. Serve with dressing.

Pasta Carbonara
Ingredients
  • 3 cups uncooked pasta
  • 6 bacon strips, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-1/4 cups milk
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove to paper towels. In the drippings, saute garlic until tender. Add the milk, cream cheese and butter; stir until smooth. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and bacon; heat through. Drain pasta; toss with sauce.

Breakfast Pepperoni Pizza
Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 prebaked mini pizza crust
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 12 slices pepperoni 
Directions
In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, onion and water. In a small skillet, heat butter until hot. Add egg mixture; cook and stir over medium heat until eggs are partially set.
Place the crust on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with about 2 tablespoons cheese and drizzle with about 2 tablespoons pizza sauce. Top with scrambled egg mixture. Drizzle with remaining pizza sauce; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Top with pepperoni.
Bake at 200° for 10-12 minutes or until crust is slightly crisp. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Family Vegetable Beef Soup
Ingredients
  • 2 pounds (2 фунта ≈ 900 гр.) ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can (46 ounces (46 унций ≈ 1300 гр.)) tomato juice
  • 1 can (28 ounces (28 унций ≈ 800 гр.)) diced tomatoes, undrained

  • 2 cups frozen cut green beans
  • 2 cups each finely chopped celery, cabbage and carrots
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (орегано)
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions
In a Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium heat (на среднем огне) until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour.


Coconut Tropical Fruit Salad
Ingredients
  • 1 medium mango, peeled and cubed
  • 1 medium green apple, cubed
  • 1 medium red apple, cubed
  • 1 medium pear, cubed
  • 1 medium orange, peeled and chopped
  • 2 medium kiwi fruit, peeled and chopped
  • 10 seedless red grapes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 firm medium banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup flaked coconut, toasted

Directions
In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Drizzle with orange juice; toss gently to coat. Refrigerate until serving. Just before serving, fold in banana and sprinkle with coconut.
